HAND BUILDING CERAMICS & THROWING POTS
with Anthea Summers

Develop your hand-building techniques such as coiling, beating & burnishing.

Also explore texture and pattern-making methods,
create dramatic effects onto slab built cylinders, square forms & platters.

Using self setting New clay and cold ceramic glazes,
with the help of a gas kiln to quicken the usually lengthy process,
produce a finished piece or two.

You will also have the chance to use a Potters Wheel to throw your own pot.

You could make your own items to glaze and fire at the next Raku class!
